1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access and use of the mobile application “Kisan Dost”, owned and operated by Mittee Seeds Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, having its registered office at:

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge and accept these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must supervise your use. The Company does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. Registration and Account
- You may log in using your mobile phone number and a one-time password (OTP).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTP and for all activities under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including your name, location, and land details) and to update it promptly.
4. Description of Services
The App provides the following features (“Services”):
- AI Advisory & Crop Health Analyzer — AI-based crop disease detection and advisory.
- Satellite View & Crop Monitoring — Satellite imagery and NDVI-based field monitoring.
- Mandi Live Rates — Real-time and near-real-time agricultural market prices.
- Weather Forecast — Localised weather predictions for farm planning.
- Expert Video Call — On-demand consultations with independent agricultural experts.
- Budget Planning — Crop-level cost, revenue, and profit estimation tools.
- Buy & Sell Marketplace — A platform connecting agricultural buyers and sellers.
- Government Schemes — Aggregated information about central and state government schemes.
We may add, modify, or discontinue any feature at our discretion without prior notice.
5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, or obscene content.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Upload images or videos that contain personally identifiable information of others without consent.
Violation may result in immediate termination of your account and legal action.
6. Your Content and License
By uploading, posting, or submitting any content (including images, videos, text, or comments) to the App, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute such content for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the App.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this license.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties
The App and all services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Specific Feature Disclaimers
- AI Advisory & Crop Health Analyzer: The AI models may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely solely on AI outputs for farming decisions. Always consult a local agronomist. The Company is not liable for any crop loss or damage resulting from AI advice.
- Satellite View & Crop Monitoring: Satellite imagery may have delays (up to several days), cloud cover, or low resolution. NDVI and other indices are estimates. The Company does not guarantee real-time accuracy.
- Mandi Live Rates: Prices are sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incorrect, or manipulated. Do not make selling decisions based solely on these rates. The Company is not responsible for any financial loss.
- Weather Forecast: Weather predictions are forecasts, not guarantees. The Company disclaims all liability for irrigation, spraying, or harvesting decisions.
- Expert Video Call: Experts are independent third parties, not employees of the Company. The Company does not warrant their qualifications or advice. You assume all risks of following expert recommendations.
- Budget Planning: All cost, revenue, and profit estimates are projections only, based on historical data and assumptions. Actual results may vary significantly. The Company is not liable for any economic loss arising from reliance on budget estimates.
- Buy & Sell Marketplace: The Company is only a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not inspect, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any product listed, nor the ability of parties to complete a transaction. All disputes are between buyer and seller.
- Government Schemes: Information is collected from public sources. The Company does not guarantee eligibility, timeliness, or completeness. Users should verify with official government sources.
AI Acknowledgment
The App uses artificial intelligence. You understand and agree that AI systems are probabilistic and may produce errors (“hallucinations”). You assume full responsibility for verifying any AI output with local agricultural experts or physical inspection before taking any action. The Company disclaims all liability arising from AI inaccuracies.
No Government Affiliation
The Kisan Dost App, its content, and its services (including but not limited to market prices, weather forecasts, soil reports, government scheme information, and satellite imagery) are provided for informational purposes only. The App is not an official source of any central, state, or local government authority. We do not represent or warrant that any information displayed (e.g., scheme eligibility, mandi rates, soil health indicators) is approved, verified, or endorsed by any government body. You should always confirm any government-related information with the relevant department or official website. Any reliance on the information is at your own risk, and the Company shall not be liable for any loss arising from such reliance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Company, its Directors, Employees, or Affiliates be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of crops, profits, revenue, data, or goodwill).
- Any claim arising from reliance on AI, satellite, market, weather, or budget information.
- Any dispute between users of the marketplace or video calls.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us (if any) in the preceding 12 months.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Your use of the App (including AI, marketplace, video calls).
- Your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy).
- Any content you submit.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or advertisements (e.g., Google AdMob). We do not control or endorse these third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

14. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the App.
PRIVACY POLICY FOR KISAN DOST

1. Introduction
Mittee Seeds Private Limited respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Kisan Dost mobile application (“App”).
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Registration Information: Mobile phone number (for OTP login). Optionally, name, village, state.
- Profile details — full name, role (Farmer / Expert / Buyer / Organization / OrgEmployee), optional organisation name and designation.
- Field details — polygon coordinates, sowing date, crop name, optional crop variety, and notes that you draw or type when registering a field.
- User Content: Photos, videos, text, or audio you upload (e.g., crop scans, community posts, queries to experts).
- Communication: Any messages, emails, or call recordings (with your consent) from video calls with experts.
- Marketplace listings — crop name, quantity, price, location (district/state), notes, and listing photos.
- Crop analysis inputs — photos or short videos of your crops, plus any notes you add.
- Soil-test certificate — for users who register as soil testers, the certification image/PDF.
- Expert profile information — qualifications, organisation, bio, and pricing if you register as an expert.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device location — used while the app is in use, to show local weather and mandi prices, and to centre maps when adding a field. Coarse and fine location.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (with your permission) to provide weather, market prices, and satellite imagery for your fields.
- Usage Data: App features you use, timestamps, clickstream, crash logs (via analytics tools like Firebase).
- Photos/Media: When you use the crop analyzer, we process the image or video file on our servers to generate the AI result. We may retain anonymized images to improve the model.
- Push notification token (FCM token) — used to send you weather, advisory, mandi-price, and chat notifications. Tied to your account on our server.
- Diagnostic data — Firebase Crashlytics receives anonymised crash reports (stack traces, OS version, device model). Firebase Analytics records anonymised feature usage events.
C. Information from Third Parties
- Satellite Data Providers (Sentinel Hub, Planet): Provide imagery based on your field polygon.
- Market Price APIs (www.data.gov.in).
- Weather APIs (e.g., OpenWeatherMap, IMD).
- Authentication: If you later allow sign-in via Google/Facebook, we receive your name and email as per their permissions.

4. Why We Collect Your Information
We collect your information solely to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and its Services.
- Personalise your experience (local weather, relevant market prices, field-specific advisories).
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- Send you service-related notifications (weather alerts, mandi price changes, chat messages).
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.
- Investigate and fix bugs and crashes.
5. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following situations:
Service processors (only to operate the App):
- Railway — hosting and database provider (US/EU regions).
- Google Firebase — Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging, Phone Auth.
- Anthropic / Google AI — crop image and video analysis prompts. Images may be transmitted to these providers for inference; they do not train on your data per their default API terms.
- EOSDA — satellite imagery for your registered field polygons (field coordinates only).
- Open-Meteo + Nominatim — anonymous weather and reverse-geocoding lookups (lat/long only).
- data.gov.in (AGMARKNET) — anonymous mandi price queries.
- Agora.io — encrypted video/voice call routing for expert consultations.
- Twilio or MSG91 — SMS delivery for OTP login.
- Google Maps Platform — map tiles and places autocomplete (anonymous).
- Soil-test counterparties / expert counterparties / buyers — they see only what you publish in your listing or chat with them.
Other situations:
- With experts: For video calls, your name, photo (if provided), and crop query may be shared with the independent expert.
- With marketplace counterparties: If you list or buy a product, your user name, contact number, and location may be shared with the counterparty to complete the transaction.
- For legal reasons: To comply with a court order, government request, or to enforce our rights.
- Business transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred (we will notify you).
- With your consent: For any other purpose you authorise.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. After account deletion:
- Account data (name, phone, land details) will be deleted within 90 days.
- Anonymised crop scan images and AI analysis results may be retained to improve our algorithms.
- Marketplace transaction records may be retained for 7 years per tax laws.
- Chat logs and video call recordings (if any) will be deleted after 6 months unless required for legal proceedings.

8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access and rectification: You can view and update your profile and land details in the App.
- Deletion: You may request account deletion by contacting our Grievance Officer. Some data may be retained as required by law.
- Opt-out of analytics: You can disable analytics tracking via your device’s app settings.
- Location permissions: You can enable/disable GPS location via your device settings. However, some features (e.g., weather, satellite view) may not work properly.
- Withdraw consent: For any processing based on your consent, you may withdraw it by emailing us. Withdrawal may affect your ability to use certain features.

9. Security
- All network traffic uses HTTPS.
- Authentication tokens are stored in the platform secure storage (Android Keystore, iOS Keychain).
- Passwords (for the legacy email/password path) are hashed with ASP.NET Identity defaults (PBKDF2).
- The backend is hosted on Railway with TLS-terminated edge.
- Access to production secrets is limited to the operator account.
No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to info@mitteeseeds.com.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption, access controls, secure servers) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011 (and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 once notified).
